The Clare & Gilbert Valleys Council sponsored History Centre is operated by local volunteers and provides local history, family research and information.
Open Wednesday, Thursday & Friday between 10am and 3pm..
Closed over Christmas and New Year
Information Centre materials are available on Fridays through the Clare & Gilbert Valleys Riverton Branch located next door.
A fee of $10 per hour is charged for use of the numerous resources whilst research undertaken by the Local Historian also attracts a fee of $10 per hour.
District Histories – Gilbert Valleys area ie: Manoora, Saddleworth, Marrabel, Rhynie, Riverton, Navan, Peters Hill, Tarlee, Giles Corner, Gilbertown, Stockport and Tarlee.
