Rattler Trail

The Rattler Trail runs from Riverton through to Auburn and is a shared cycling/walking trail which follows the former railway line. The trail develops into the Riesling Trail from Auburn to north of the Clare township.

The Rattler Trail is 19.5km long.

Riders and walkers will find the trail is well signposted with interpretive signage along the way which illustrate the history and features of the region.

For those looking for a rest stop they will find a seat and table with shelter at the site of the former Rhynie Railway Station just 6.2km north of Riverton.
