Measures 2554m Par 35 with two par 3s ranging from 119-132m, six par 4s ranging from 200-365m and the 9th-439m / 18th-454m.

Course has 9 black soil scrapes with alternate tee mounds for front/back nines.

There are no sand or water hazards on the course.

Only the 339m 1st/10th and the 275m 6th/15th use the same tee mound length.

There are 2 sharp dogleg Par 4 holes at the 330m-4th/365m-13th and the short 200m-8th/218m-17th.

Up-and-back 2 holes to begin with, then you cross the fairways to play the next 2 holes around the clubhouse and church.

Basic golf facilities here, and fees are $5.

Course access/carpark is at the northern end of town opposite the playground parking bay.

The Gilbert Valley Cricket Club is affiliated with the Barossa and light cricket assocation. Fielding A1 & A3  Senior grades and U13 & U11 Junior grades.  Milo cricket program is also run.

Riverton Bowling club is affiliated within the Wooroora association. Fielding several grades in the summer competition, days of play being Thursdays and Saturdays.  Night Owl competition is played on Wednesday nights.

RSMU FOOTBALL & NETBALL CLUBS

The Riverton, Saddleworth, Marrabel United (RSMU) Football and Netball Clubs are welcoming, community focused clubs which work collaboratively to achieve sporting success in the North Eastern Football and Netball Associations.
 

In 1998 RSMU joined the North Eastern League and have enjoyed several senior football and netball premierships. Our aim is to give everyone a go regardless of experience and help them enjoy being involved in sports. RSMU is a friendly, social and family orientated club who openly welcomes new and long serving members.
